I’m doing a bit of work, or trying to, with film projects in northern and central California. The name of the company I’m working with is called KMB Productions. Its trio of founders (I’m one) wear many hats, including writer, artist, traveler, film historian, regular historian, editor, designer, well, you get the idea.

paul flew to hawaii today. he and ely were in blockbuster and they saw “ghost game” on sale! in hawaii!

on saturday paul had me help out on a shoot for the sacramento hip-hop emcee tais and dj, rock bottom. they are super nice guys, intelligent and thoughtful on music, politics, society, you name it. they are coming out with a mixtape in early december. paul and i were helping on an electronic press kit. to start out the day we went to mckinley park for a photo shoot. there was another cameraman/director, fashion stylist, booking coordinator, and of course, the photographer. i won’t name names here because of privacy…. later in the afternoon we headed to united state, a boutique in midtown that has great clothes, records and dvds. paul and mandy, the owners, stayed open late for us to do the video interviews. the interviews went great. i can’t wait to see the photos. it was a great experience!
